What types of cases can be handled in Small Claims Court?Small Claims Court handles civil claims up to $50,000, including unpaid debts, breach of contract, and property damage.

How are your fees structured?Legal services are generally offered on a flat-fee basis, discussed in advance.
Notary fees are $35 for the first document and $15 for each additional document, with bulk discounts for more than 10 documents
Do you offer remote services?Some legal services may be provided remotely. Notary Public services are provided in person only.
What is a Certified True Copy?A Certified True Copy is a copy of an original document that a Notary Public certifies as a true and accurate reproduction of the original.
The original document must be presented in person. Printed copies or documents sent by email are not accepted for certification.
Do you provide legal advice through the website or email?No. Information provided is general only. Legal advice is given after a consultation and formal engagement.
Can my case be resolved without going to trial?Yes. Many cases are resolved through settlement or a settlement conference before trial.
What should I know before a notary appointment?Please bring valid government-issued photo ID and the document to be notarized. A Notary Public cannot provide legal advice on the document’s content, and confirming that the correct document is notarized is the client’s responsibility.
What matters are handled by the Landlord and Tenant Board?
The LTB hears disputes under the Residential Tenancies Act, including rent arrears, evictions, maintenance, and tenant applications.
Do all documents require notarization?No. Notarization is only required when requested by an institution or receiving party.
Can you notarize photocopies or scanned documents?Only if the original document is physically present. Copies alone cannot be certified or notarized.
